The “Week with Dior” comes to an end. After a journey through perfumes, Haute Couture designs, the “New Look” revolution and an accessorize overview, it would be a huge oversight not to recognize latest Christian Dior fashion house designs. So, even if thriving in vintage shops and living in the fashion past tense, it is still good to keep an eye on what happens in the fashion present tense. After all, inspiration can be found everywhere if one is willing to recognize it.

To close this 7 days encounter with Dior, small review of Spring Couture collections presented by Christian Dior fashion house between 2010 and 2013.

What is important to underline is that in this period of time as many as three designers were responsible for Dior Spring Couture – John Galliano in 2010 and 2011, Bill Gaytten in 2012 and currently Raf Simons for Spring Couture 2013. It is easy to recognize that each of the designers interpreted the Dior legacy in his own way, but there are some elements that bind creations together and create the feeling of continuity – highlighted waist, A – line skirts, multiple layers of fabric, delectable, saturated colors and feminine lines.
