Audrey Hepburn loved Rome and Rome loved her, what is proved in this recently published collection of never before released pictures. We follow Audrey through streets of the Eternal City in three decades of her life, witnessing changing fashions, hairstyles and companions. What never changes is her charm, elegance and a warm smile that lightens up her image like nothing else.
I enjoyed this album a lot, although I wish some of presented pictures weren’t published in black & white palette, as after all reading “Audrey wearing a pink dress” is not the same as seeing the pink dress. In any case, all Audrey Hepburn fans and admirerers of her style will be satisfied, and so was I.
